How long is the quote valid for?
A quote is usually valid for 30 days.
What happens if a client changes his/her mind after I have Cover noted/Bound the risk to you?
At COVERNOTE/BIND stage we outline that it is your responsibility to ensure the client pays the required premium and a correct closing is sent to our office within 30 days. If a client changes his/her mind we are in our right to request, as per the terms of our policy a short term rate for time on risk. If this does occur please contact your underwriter immediately and they will give you guidance.
